Join Dr. Ariele Foster in this Master Class for healthy foot and ankle mechanics. This therapeutic and challenging practice will include:
- Bunion correctives
- Self-myofascial release
- Foot intrinsic strengthening
- Foot mobility and adaptability
- Playful balancing
- New ways of exploring the kinetic chain from the ground up
Taking good care of your feet — by focusing on strengthening and improved proprioception — can help improve whole body mechanics.
Toe, foot and ankle mobility and stability are too often neglected in the quest for active aging.
By learning simple exercises and modifications of yoga poses, you may decrease knee and hip pain, improve walking and running efficiency, restore arches, decrease bunions and bunionettes, and encourage cosmetic improvements .
This practice is open to all levels, and is highly encouraged for those who have previous ankle sprains, or knee, hip or foot pain or stiffness.
