WORKSHOP: Myofascial Medicine (Richmond, VA)

Self-myofascial release is a highly accessible practice that deeply compliments yoga asana and other movement modalities. It is a self-care skill that will benefit and enhance your life.
This workshop covers the latest science, relevant anatomy and physiology of fascia and demonstrates how the practice of myofascial release is a vital companion to yoga asana.
Using simply 2 tennis balls, experience 2 hours of skillfully guided self-massage and enjoy a profound lightness, freedom and sense of renewal in your body. You may also notice increased ease in your asana practice. Join us for an afternoon of delicious self-care that will take you where no ordinary yoga practice will take you — deep into your fascial layer.
(We recommend participants be able to get on and off the floor independently.)
Please bring 2 tennis balls and a clean tube sock and arrive well-hydrated.

No previous experience is required, and all levels are welcome.
