Yoga Therapy for Covid-19 Recovery [ONLINE WORKSHOP]
May 16, 2021 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm EDT
The COVID-19 pandemic has indelibly changed our lives.
For those that have contracted and recovered from COVID-19, it has also changed their bodies, physiology, and almost all aspects of daily living.
In this 90-minute workshop, Dr. Ingrid Yang will present cutting-edge research about the physiology of COVID-19 infections and explain how this disease may cause long-term effects. She will then discuss how yoga professionals can help individuals who are recovering from COVID-19 and offer both general and specific principles to assist in COVID-19 recovery.
Ingrid Yang is an internal medicine physician, yoga therapist, and published author. She has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and is the author of the books Adaptive Yoga and Hatha Yoga Asanas. Dr. Yang leads trainings and retreats around the world, with a special focus on kinesthetic physiology and healing through breathwork, meditation and mind-body connection.
